10 THINGS YOU SHOULD NOT POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA



Social media has reach its peak level and it's now slowly becoming a huge part of our everyday lives.Social media has made it possible to share our thoughts and ideas with millions of virtual users worldwide just within seconds.Almost everyone uses social media platforms in different ways whether to communicate with their friends or being bullies online. Social media is one of the easiest way to make new friends, relate to other people and stay connected with your love ones. However, social media has it's own consequences if not utilize properly. It can become an instrument of hatred  on you, cyber bullying and your worst nightmare. To save yourself from the hurt and embarrassment here's a list of things you shouldn't post on social medias.

1.Relationship Problem



If you're having a dispute or relationship issue with your partner, avoid spilling the tea on social medias. This is a situation people don't need nor want to know.Every one can create his or her own version of the story over time since you gave them an idea about it. First try to resolve the problem at your home level by having a conversation with your partner. Avoid letting people know the history of your relationships.

2.Offensive Subject



There are so many types of posts that falls into this category . Racial garble , raw jokes , swearing and curse slurs. It looks fun between friends but at the business level, some business owners find it a disrespectful and unpleasing.

3.Copyright Content



Using someone's content (images, videos, quotes or ideas) without any attribution or credit to the owner is pretty risky. Copyright Infringement has become a serious issue and can lead to a legal action that cause severe damage to your brand.

4.Nude Photos



It's inappropriate and ungodly to expose your body on social media. It becomes worse when you don't have a fit and sexy body. It will create openings for people to laugh at you. Exposing your body with main purpose of being an icon is not something anyone should be proud of. Be careful of what you post , children and teenager also use social media. Give them that respect.

5.Pictures involving You in acts like Drugs and Alcohol


Avoid letting everyone know your bad side . People are less impressed and delighted if you post a drunk photo of yourself.Be careful! some jobs look on social media accounts before deciding if you're qualified for their company. You might not want to lose your dream job.


6.Unnecessary Personal Opinions


Your personal opinion only matters when someone ask for it , Otherwise it's best to keep it to yourself. Before you want to post what's on your mind, review it, ask yourself if it's worth posting and then you can post. Make sure your thoughts are clear and has facts. Be real.

7.Bank Account Detail




Anything involving money is to be considered seriously. Money is one of the greatest tool that separates a lot of people .There a lot of internet trafficking and online scam nowadays and sharing your bank account details with someone online isn't safe. The next step is losing all your wealth in an instant.

8. Embarrassing Photos/Videos of your friends



I guess it's very normal to make fun of your friends, especially our close friends. They will understand you without being irritated or angry about it. Nevertheless, don't expect they wouldn't repost. For sure, they thinking something more embarrassing than what you have posted against them, It can be funny but can cause your downfall or make you a meme sensation.


9.Personal Conversations



It's a private matter and should remain between you and that person. It is really disrespectful and abusive posting a personal convo without the approval of the other party. Even if the message is meaningless get the consent of the other party. It shows how you do care.

10.Secret Information




Personal information such as contact number, birthday, passport number, address and more should be taken off social media. It's best for these information to remain confidential and under no circumstances be shared with an unknown person. Such information can facilitate the job of thieves in stealing your identity which is most common nowadays.
