By avoiding certain food completely and only consuming it on special occasions, you can limit your exposure to these food addictions.

Shopping addiction is a very real thing and it affects about 1 and 20 people. The addiction can be destructive to more than just your bank notes. The body releases endorphin which stimulates the pleasure senses of your brain, which can make you feel happy and therefore make you wanna shop more. You find yourself trying to hide evidence of your shopping by hiding bank statements every time, You're suffering from an addiction.
4. Cigarettes/Tobacco
Tobacco is one of the toughest addictions that you can try and kick. And although studies have prove that 2/3 of people are addicted to nicotine and cigarettes, eventually do kick habit by going to therapy. Many smokers who returned to the habit in a moment of weakness and there are great deal of methods which people do use to give up of smoking. Really nicotine doesn't do anything, it's just addictive.
3. Work
It's pretty easy to throw the term workaholic around, but it is a real condition for those who suffer from addiction to work and you find reasons to work even if there is no reasons to do so. You're always thinking about work, work related things and real living conversations is about meetings and colleagues. Some workaholic have an emotional need to work and oversee the problem as the more time you spend at work the more the rest of your life become deficient. Many bosses often reward workaholics who are potentially damaging their emotions and physical health.

Recreational drugs chemicals which is design to stimulate the pleasure sensor of the human brain and unsurprisingly, it's some of the worst thing that you can addicted to. The effects of drugs can be devastating and withdraw effects can be catastrophic. That makes the impact of drugs like cocaine which result in sudden heart failure which has the most devastating impact of any drug and it's so addictive that it can completely ruin the life of some peoples.
